International Youth Volunteering Centre of Haskovo is a young local association with experience in promoting and managing EVS projects since 2004 as a partnering organisation of the local youth centre. The organization started with taking an active part in youth activities in the territory of Haskovo and the region. We have been working in an excellent partnership with local government in Haskovo and neighbor municipalities in the field of youth politics.
Since the its start, IYVC has actively collaborated with many different volunteer organisations and has supported many different young people to participate in an EVS project.
We are providing non-formal intercultural learning experience for between Bulgarian (and other international youth) and a youth volunteer, encouraging their social integration and active participation, improving their employability and giving them opportunities to show solidarity with other people, support the development of local communities, encouraging the establishment of partnerships and the exchange of experience and good practice between the partners. |
