The Association of medical students in Bulgaria /AMSB/ was found on the 3rd of March 1990.
AMSB is independent, non-political, nongovernmental, nonreligious, democratic organization of the medical students from the whole country. It is legally registered in the Sofia court of justice. AMSB is a full member of IFMSA.
Members of AMSB are more than 700 medical students from all over the country. We have 5 actively working local committees /LC's/ - in the medical universities in Sofia, Plovdiv, Pleven, Varna and Stara Zagora.
Our main goals are: Unification the medical students in Bulgaria; Improvement of their professional qualification; Support and cooperation in solving educational, community and social problems of the medical students.
Some of our activities are: Exchange programs; Public health and reproductive health campaigns; Medical education initiatives; Scientific forums; Student magazine publishing. |
