From Sunday 2nd till Saturday 8th May 2010 the Dutch NA will host the
fourth edition of impACT!on - Youth in Action TC. In this TC young
people (aged 18-30) gain knowledge, skills and understanding about
active citizenship and its place in European society. In the training
course the participants will start designing projects on active
citizenship in the YiA programme. The trainers team includes Evija
Samsonova (Latvia), Dirk Adams (Germany) and Zita Krastina (Latvia).
Therefore, we are looking for 25 enthusiastic young people, having some
experience in international youth work and willing to create projects in
YiA, to participate in this TC. We ask your support by promoting this TC
in your countries. Please let me know if you're interested in sending
participants (and paying for their travel costs).
During last year's TCP meeting many NAs already showed their interest in sending participants (HU, CZ, SE, NO, EE, BEFR, UK, AT, DE, PL, RO, DK, LT). Please let me know if this is still the case.

The deadline for applications is Monday 15th March 2010. The final
selection will be communicated on the 23rd.

Workshop in Netherlands

Next year January (15^th -21^st ), the Dutch foundation *Critical Mass* will organize a workshop for 19 adult learners from the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey (including three participants from the Netherlands). The workshop is called *'The INBOX Methodology: a Toolbox for dealing with Diversity and Conflict' *and is funded through
Grundtvig, the European Union's Programme for Mobility and Cooperation in Adult Education. The workshop will take place in The Netherlands, and English will be the language used.
We are looking for adults wanting to expand their skills in dealing with diversity and conflict in their societies, work, neighbourhood etc. Participants will include those committed to *personal development*, citizens looking for skills and inspiration to shape their *active civic engagement*, and those interested *professionally* in our methodology.
Naturally, participants are interested in themes like diversity,
conflict, polarisation and creative methods. The main activities in the programme will be *sharing experiences*, methodology and methods used throughout Europe; getting to know and
develop skills to work with the Critical Mass *INBOX methodology*; gain practical experience through *fieldwork* and work towards creating a *personal action* *plan* to implement lessons learned at home. Interaction*, creativity, knowledge and reflection *will play extensive roles in the workshop.. ЕВРОПА В СОФИЯ

В понеделник, 12 октомври, от 16:30 часа на ул. Раковски № 127, в залата на Читалище „Славянска Беседа”, ще започне първото от поредицата събития, които ще представят пред софийската публика европейските програми и мрежи, намиращи се на територията на столицата.
Събитията са част от проекта „Европа в София”, финансиран по програма „Европейски проекти и развитие на гражданското общество” на Столична Община и изпълняван от Центъра за модернизиране на политики и Портал ЕВРОПА.
Програмата в понеделник ще започне с „Панаир ЕВРОПА”. В рамките на един час всички гости ще могат да се запознаят с информационните материали на представените центрове и програми и ще получат отговор на въпросите си, свързани с различните възможности, които ЕС предоставя на Европейските граждани.
По време на панаира ще бъде представена и програма "Младежта в действие" на НЦЕМПИ.

Ще се проведе обучение за програмата на Европейския съюз "Младежта в действие". Обучението е международно.
