Dutch NA will host the fourth edition of impACT!

From Sunday 2nd till Saturday 8th May 2010 the Dutch NA will host the
fourth edition of impACT!on - Youth in Action TC. In this TC young
people (aged 18-30) gain knowledge, skills and understanding about
active citizenship and its place in European society. In the training
course the participants will start designing projects on active
citizenship in the YiA programme. The trainers team includes Evija
Samsonova (Latvia), Dirk Adams (Germany) and Zita Krastina (Latvia).
Therefore, we are looking for 25 enthusiastic young people, having some
experience in international youth work and willing to create projects in
YiA, to participate in this TC. We ask your support by promoting this TC
in your countries. Please let me know if you're interested in sending
participants (and paying for their travel costs).
During last year's TCP meeting many NAs already showed their interest in sending participants (HU, CZ, SE, NO, EE, BEFR, UK, AT, DE, PL, RO, DK, LT). Please let me know if this is still the case.

The deadline for applications is Monday 15th March 2010. The final
selection will be communicated on the 23rd.

BACKGROUND

In the last years intercultural projects have taken a central role in youth work and can be considered today as a tool for social change, a cornerstone to community development, to the European integration and to international youth work. The management of projects ,improving their quality and inclusion issue has become necessary skills for youth organizations. Organizing an international intercultural and educational activity with participants from different countries requires thorough planning, preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up. There are a lot of factors to focus at each project planning stage. However, not always and certainly not everyone, pay the necessary attention to that factors or better, most of the times people even don’t know about them.

PCM for Inclusionj is a 6 days Training Course which will gather voluntary and professional youth workers to work together on different aspects and elements in organising and running international and inclusive YOUTH projects, also will provide training on the major priorities of the YOUTH in ACTION (YiA) programme, it will be an opportunity to meet possible partner groups and to build partnerships for the future projects.

Polish National Agency organize an international seminar

Organizing an international seminar, Polish National Agency would like to focus on the variety of
experiences that we have in this field in different European countries. And also to underline the role of
the games as a tool in projects, to spread the knowledge of youth in Action Programme and gain new
competences.
Polish National Agency believes that participants of this seminar will be able to share the knowledge,
experiences and good practices, and finally to came up with the ideas of projects, improvements, find
new partners for the projects and use new tools that they will find on CMS.
Seminar is addressed to people working directly with youth in governmental and non governmental
organizations: social workers, cultural animators, teachers, trainers…
Participants are expected to have knowledge about Youth in Action Programme and have experience in
leading or participating at least in one project from Action 1. (youth exchange, youth initiative or youth in
democracy).
