Youth in Action 1.1 Youth Exchange " Welcome Home "
Dear Partners;
Diaconat Protestant - Residence Rochecolombe is searching for partners in hosting youth exchange.
Who we are
The Residence Rochecolombe creates conditions so that the young people that it welcomes build their first steps in the active life.
Using a global approach, the residence acts on all the control levers which contribute to the development of the young people :reception, housing environment, employment, training, health, cultural opening, citizenship and their creative involvement where they live.
The population : They are native of France, DOM-TOM, European Union and foreign countries. (Asia, Africa and Latin America)They are salaried, job-hunters, trainees of the vocational training, or students.
Our work: They all have different needs according to age, French language level and the knowledge of the social and professional environment. A multidisciplinary team of 5 social workers and 1 European Volunteer intervenes in the various domains of everyday life ( health, budget, employment, training, accommodation, leisure activities…) The coordinator makes a social accompaniment individual for the search of job and training, he also has a responsibility for the conception and the application of collective actions which aim at facilitating the links between residents, the consideration of the cultural differences and the socialization within our community

Main Topic - Objectives and Aim
Our Main aim to unite young people on the debates regarding chosen topics like immigration, xenophobia, racism, social inclusion-adaptation.
Creating connections between participants, local people and immigrants; Giving a chance to compare their conditions with others in a moderated atmosphere.
We would like to encourage them to presenting their own immigrant situations in their countries and personal aspects, experiences, problems and will be discussed at the project.
Lead them to finding solutions of problems which foreign people faced in their life and find common ground the way of solution and promote them after the project.
One of our goal is to make clear minds on decision making phase we will try to make minds without prejudges on immigrants or foreign people and take a step through costs of xenophobia.
Residence Rochecolombe's status causes local people and foreigners to live together in the same roof so that participants will have a chance to meet with foreigners, immigrants and people who came for their education. It is important for us to involve the residence in our project; in this way, participants will be able to talk with people with different cultural backgrounds. Besides that, the Residence has its own regular social activities allowing participants to join in different activities.

-- We will make short movie during the project ( if you have video camera, photo camera, laptop please bring it with you)

Preparation
Every Team has to prepare presentation before project. We would like to give 45mins-1hour to each team for present situation of immigrants in their countries with examples or critical crises.( videos and pictures are more welcome in presentation which are about topics)

Potential Topics for Presentation
--Immigration Rates , Immigrant's Situation in general terms
--Adaptation period of immigrants and/or foreign people and associations which deals with them
--Fighting against xenophobia and social activities which fight against it
--Racism, solution ways, experiences and ideas
--Religion effects on immigrants
--Social Inclusion, social activities for inclusion
--Discrimination, Priority or Restriction
--Gender equality of immigrants and their unemployment status, associations which helps them to find suitable job
--Problems between different Immigrant in the same area
Preparation for Intercultural Night
Be ready to present your country and your culture in the Intercultural Evening
2 Country will share 1 intercultural night (food, drinks, national traditional stuff, dance, traditional clothes and movies... )

We wants to faind partner to youth exchange (1.1).

We wants to faind partner to youth exchange (1.1). We need to projekt group of young people (at 15 to 18 years old) who is interesing of sport.
The projekt will be in Poland in small vilige Krośnice. Our organization have big compleks of sport filds. You can see everythink on our page www.cets.com.pl.
We plan the exchange in August when we have big traditional events. We name this event- Dożynki.

Hello from Greece!

I am a teacher of english and my students and I wish to participate in a
youth in action project , action 1.1 this summer, preferably in august. My
students are about 10, 14-19 years old, mostly girls. We have no previous
experience, that's why we are looking for an organisation to host us this
summer and we can host spring 2011. We are open to any project suggestion.

ECO CITIZENSHIP : Youth Exchanges, Action 1.1

(European eco-Citizen" and Cultural diversity youth exchnage)
the NGO solafrika is looking for partner ::
Solafrika is an International non-profit organisation, which works for
the development and the autonomy of “countries”. Our works is based on
active partnerships with promoters from France and at international
level. In France, Solafrika holds workshops on Education for
Sustainable Development and the International solidarity.

The activity :

Project summary:
Our project is to improve the young people participation and to
develop group building between all the participants thanks to
eco-citizenship workshops in a rural-montain area
The main objective is to develop various activities about saving
energy and sustainable development in oder to create some objects
thanks to different « recycling workshop ».
